Chicava Tate, Social Media Goddess
Chicava’s Sacred Chrysali is the space where the sacred sexuality of Taoist Womanly Arts, burlesque, transformation and sistering community meet. She is a Universal Healing Tao Associate Teacher, burlesque dancer & historian, actor producer. For 12 years she led Brown Girls Burlesque as its Creative Producer, making shows at Joe's Pub and Brooklyn Museum. She received her MFA in Interdisciplinary Art from Goddard College, her areas of interest being performance art, women of color in burlesque heritage, and sacred sexuality and spirituality.
